Hello and Welcome

My name is David I am a Bereaved Survivor of Suicide, I lost my son Martin to Suicide on the 23rd June 2018.

I live in the Isle of Man a Crown Dependency in the United Kingdom.

I found that there was little or no support for people bereaved by Suicide on the Island. I decided to create a closed Facebook group to help myself and others come to terms with their loss. This website has been created so that people not using social media may have access to support in some way.

The loss of a loved one by Suicide is one of the worst ever tragedy’s a person could endure. In the group we believe it helps to be supported by people who are suffering in a similar way to you. Suicide grief is quite unlike any other type of grief.

We provide a safe ,supportive, respectful and encouraging place for people to express and share in their grief journey. We communicate by social media and meet together in small groups.

We know that it is very difficult to cope with this grief alone and a lot of people in our family’s and community don’t want to talk about it. Being part of a network of people who understand your pain and grief is very helpful in the forthcoming painful days, months and years after losing a loved one to Suicide.

We appreciate that family and friends are important but we offer a different community support network to help you share and express how you really feel with your grief.

We are run by people who have lost loved ones to Suicide and have a heart to reach out our hands to help others in similar circumstances. We are a non religious group and have no agenda but to help you.
